Festivus for the rest of us.
Colorful party outfits for the remainder of the festive season.
I know what Festivus means but I needed a catchy title and it seemed perfect for the colorful party outfits to get us through the rest of the holiday season. While I do love black evening clothes, you will stand out more if you wear something different on New Year’s Eve. Many of these ensembles are also great for those of you who will be spending New Year’s Eve in warmer locales. All of these pieces can be mixed and matched to your heart’s content as well.
This magenta crystal embellished off the shoulder dress will definitely get you noticed at any party. It’s also 50% off right now. I’d pair it with 18K gold plated and cubic zirconia heart cluster stud earrings, a bright blue buckle-embellished satin-trimmed velvet clutch, and pale blue suede sandals.
Everyone will be singing The Lady in Red to you if you wear this sexy red halterneck cutout midi dress. Think outside the box and wear it with these fun magenta layered bead and sequin earrings, small violet metallic leather shoulder bag, and yellow satin pumps.
Orange you glad I included this orange jersey corset dress? It would be perfect for Harbour Island. I’d finish it off with 14K gold, emerald, and ruby drop necklace, emerald green embellished moiré clutch, and lilac leather sandals.
I could see this yellow crêpe midi dress being perfect for Palm Beach. Go crazy with accessories with the Kenneth Jay Lane 3-strand emerald glass bead nested necklace, fuchsia embellished satin clutch, and rose colored satin feathered sandals.
This pine green silk-blend satin slip dress was one of the dresses that didn’t make the final cut of my green post earlier this week. It’s currently on sale and would look great alone or under a blazer. I’d suggest pairing it with the aqua blue chroma rhodium-plated tennis bracelet, leopard-print velvet clutch, and dark plum satin-crepe slingback pumps. If you don’t like the red soles, you can have your shoe person paint them black and/or cover them with a rubber sole.
If you have to attend a wedding over the holidays, this teal floral off-shoulder brocade gown would be a great option. For fun, pair it with some not so serious gold-tone, gem, acetate, and crystal drop earrings, ice blue colored leather shoulder bag, and gold curve healed sandals.
Have a formal event in England on the docket? This pale blue and silver embellished crêpe gown would impress the lot. Pack it with the sterling silver, 18K gold, and blue spinel drop earrings, violet embellished satin clutch, and dark plum satin pumps.
How about something unique like this blue pleated jacquard midi dress?I would suggest pairing it with the18K gold-plated and cubic zirconia chandelier earrings, metallic pink clutch, and lilac pleated leather-trimmed satin mules.
You’ll be channeling vintage film stars in this navy draped crushed satin gown. Pair it with blue rhodium-plated and crystal drop earrings, fuchsia silk-blend clutch, and pale pink suede sandals.
Another great winter wedding guest dress is this lavender crêpe satin cocktail dress. I’d pair it with goldtone, gem, acetate and crystal drop earrings, canary yellow small satin clutch, and pale blue suede sandals.
You will look chic but be very comfortable in this fig colored draped jersey maxi dress. Have some fun with the accessories and pair it with the green 18K gold-plated and crystal tennis earrings, limoncello small crushed velvet pouchette, and silver metallic leather sandals.
It’s a different style but I also love this aubergine off-the-shoulder twill and crêpe gown.
Channel the 80s and Rivals in this brown sequined off-shoulder midi dress. Add pink glass crystal goldtone domed earrings, gold shell clutch, and metallic pink leather sandals.
This gold lamé jacquard gown would look very pretty in a sea of black tuxes. The multi-colored beaded drop earrings would complement any of these dresses. As would the emerald green embossed satin clutch and lilac leather pumps.
Channel your inner screen goddess in this silver pleated gown. Finish it off with 14K-gold-plated and pink glass crystal drop earrings, satin leopard print clutch, and pink satin Mary Jane pumps. If you do actually prefer a black shoe, try this black satin curved heel.
Happy Holidays!
XOXO,
HC
