“If you're not sweating when you're buying a coat, you're doing it wrong.” - Me

Don’t worry, I’ll probably post some more summer fashions for you soon but after another 90 degree day, I just want to look at fall fashions and dream of cooler weather.
Leopard is still roaring along this year so I suggest getting a jump start on fall with this velvet leopard print jacket. If this doesn’t fit in your budget, there are plenty of vintage options online.
I love the nipped in waist of the checked wool and cotton blend top that will elevate jeans this fall. Try these jeans as a less expensive option.
These soft leather flats are the perfect shade of brown but these brown flats are much more reasonably priced.
I’m using ludicrously capacious bags again for errands and love this large brown leather tote as a work and travel bag for fall. This brown Italian leather woven tote looks much more expensive than the price.
I love switching to my gold earrings like these 14kt gold huggies with my heavier fashions but this hoops are very similar and cost much less.
I like that Toteme has jewelry now and this 18kt gold-plated ring has a unique shape. I also love this croissant ring that is only $39.90.
Tortoise aviator styles are very chic and I love this Loewe pair but these tortoise sunglasses look remarkably similar.
There is nothing I love more than burgundy for fall and I plan to add this Bordeaux belt to my wardrobe. I also like this classic brown belt too.
The eyes are the windows to the soul and this NaturaBissé Diamond Cocoon Sheer Eye tinted eye cream minimizes the look of dark circles and puffiness. Westman Atelier also has a new Eye Activator Serum that also smooths fine lines, brightens dark circles, reduces puffiness, and firms in just 4 weeks.
Scarves are having a moment this summer and will most certainly be popular for fall. I love this paisley silk twill scarf and this silk scarf is a great look for less option.
I already bought this Longchamp travel bag for my fall trips since it perfectly matches my Hartmann tweed carryon suitcase.
The book I am most excited to read this September is They All Came to Barneys: A Personal History of the World's Greatest Store by Gene Pressman. I will never forgive the venture capital firm that closed the chicest store on the Upper East Side. I look forward to reliving its heyday with the book.
Fourre-tout:
It’s too hot for cashmere now but come fall, I look forward to wearing this doe colored cashmere v-neck sweater. I also like these brown loafers and these relaxed trousers.
This fabulous cashmere cable crewneck for men is on sale right now so you can buy it as a gift for the man in your lift or keep it for yourself. I’d pair it with chic white jeans and a chambray shirt.
I was gifted these grey whipped track pants and matching grey whipped henley and they are the most comfortable set I’ve ever owned. The garnet waffle knit joggers and matching waffle knit pullover would be perfect for fall travel too.
Fall always feels back to school and I love buying new unmentionables to go with all my new clothes. I love this sheer bralette and sheer brief but they also come as a set.
I’m also buying home products for my new apartment and have my eye on this scalloped shower curtain. This floral tablecloth would be pretty for Thanksgiving, as would this jacket.
“Summer makes me drowsy. Autumn makes me sing.” - Dorothy Parker
Besides the fashions, there are so many great events I love in the fall like art fairs, antique shows, and film festivals. What are you looking forward to this fall?
XOXO,
HC
It’s getting really hot 🥵 again in London and I don’t like it. Can’t wait to wear my cashmere again! X
I want everything! Including fall weather!
