One for them. Two for you.
We are back with our second gift guide and there are some great sales to take advantage of as you continue your holiday shopping.
I like to curate my gift guides with a mix of items for everyone instead of assigning posts to certain ages or gender groups. I’m not particularly girly so I often love items designated for men and men might not look at gift guides for women although it might contain something they would like too.
Gift giving is my love language and I think it’s important to thoughtfully consider what the recipient would like to receive not just what you would like to give them. Check out their Instagram posts and stories. What are they posting? Is there something they’ve mentioned needing or wanting or wish they could afford? If you really look, I bet you will figure out the perfect present. I also think it’s nice to give something long lasting with an ephemeral gift like food or a gift card so they will remember you long after the other one is gone.
I’ve tried to choose gifts in all price points but gift guides are a fun time to dream so yes, there are luxurious gifts included as well. Hopefully, there is something for everyone on your list.
Have a friend with a penchant for porcelain? They will love this charming pair of hanging lavender bags inspired by the 19th-century Staffordshire figures of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in The Victorian Parlour of the Dennis Severs’ House in London. Hand sewn by Maude Smith and filled with lavender from her garden in Yorkshire they make irresistibly fragrant gifts. Each comes with a handy loop of green ribbon making them ideal to hang them in their wardrobe to scent their clothes.
I already bought myself a pair and this is a good reminder that museum gift shops often have wonderful objects, jewelry, art, and books that make great presents. A museum membership also makes a great gift, especially for a young person or someone who just moved to a new city.
I own multiple bottles of Regime des Fleurs perfume but I’ve been wearing Oud Dukhan lately. Two men commented on how good I smelled so I recommend that scent for the men in your life. They are currently offering 25% off but not sure how long it will last.
You could also gift someone the Discovery Set to have them choose the one they like best so you can order it later.
Have a friend who has always wanted to see what’s behind the big glossy doors in Paris? Then Inside Paris is for them. Celebrated photographer and author Ricardo Labougle takes readers into the most superbly decorated homes in Paris. Labougle’s striking photography highlights the rich variety of Paris interiors—from classical and rococo styling to more modern interpretations of decor. The foreward was written by Mathilde Favier who’s apartment is also featured in the book.
Yes, everyone is posting about Rōz these days but that’s because it really does work. It’s the best haircare line I’ve used in years so choose one of their gift sets like the Mini Holiday Essentials to the hair obsessed person on your list.
If your astrologer is on speed dial, gift them this set of all zodiac signs in this Color Pop Zodiac Matchbox Pack. You can also buy a four pack of each zodiac sign separately.
You can also custom order matchboxes for yourself and for gifts. When I was an interior designer in 2008, I would gift my clients custom matchboxes with their name. I also made them with Habitually Chic on them and always include a box when I gift a candle. Hope Lauren Santo Domingo didn’t just read that. Lol.
Your four legged friend will love this Oval Rattan Dog Bed but you will also love it since it’s so chic.
You can’t go wrong with anything from Westman Atelier and this Lip Suede Matte Lipstick Trio is a chic treat. The Petite Fete Set just came back into stock and there are still some limited edition Mini Baby Cheeks Blush Trio sets left too.
I fell in love with this plaid at Ann Mashburn but then I realized it was a Reversible Double-Faced Cape. I’m not really a cape kind of gal so I was beyond excited to find the same Scottish Heritage Lambswool in this Plaid Wool Throw Blanket. I may need to gift this to myself for Christmas.

These gorgeous tins were exclusively made for the Frick and feature a detail from the collection’s Pot-pourri à Vaisseau, one of the greatest works created by the Sèvres Porcelain Manufactory.
Other great gifts from The Frick are their Frick Diptych Series books. They are for the chicest art and antique lovers. They also have lovely wrapping paper.

All the cool kids are into old school cameras now so the teens on your list will love this Fujifilm Instax Mini 12 Camera. It comes in six different colors too.
Gift this Pea Pod Leather Bag Charm to your pea in a pod.
Remember that if you gift this Celine Triomphe Small Flap Wallet or a purse, it’s bad luck to give them without a coin or money inside. It doesn’t have to be much but it will ensure the purse will never be empty and signifies future wealth for the owner.
It’s also bad luck to gift knives and scissors. It’s thought to severe the relationship. Gifting shoes signifies the person will walk away from you.
Whether they live in NYC or not, anyone would appreciate Hidden Landmarks of New York: A Tour of the City's Most Overlooked Buildings.
This Cashmere Beanie comes in 17 different colors so you could buy one for everyone on your list or for all your family members. I have the lagoon color and love it.
