Happy Easter! Thank you for the lovely post and photos. Elegance has disappeared from daily life. I believe in it and dress well, only appearing in workout clothes when I am actually exercising. I’m not sure how to create a revival in standards. Perhaps we should live in Japan.
You are spot on! I live in LA and my husband and I are so disappointed when we go out for a nice dinner and we have to sit next to someone in a t-shirt and baseball cap or worse leggings which are definitely not pants! Let’s bring style back! Happy Easter!
Happy Easter! Thank you for posting the beautiful photos! What a delight it would be to walk those gardens or dine at one of those tables… In total agreement about the shlubby state of dress here in the US…especially the airports. People should try to have more respect for themselves as well as others. You feel good when you look good. Safe travels!
i work for a brand and had a big brainstorming workshop last week... the amount of times we referenced this idea of "having the respect to get dressed" in three days! i hope it comes back.
Lovely photos! I too am sad that the majority of Americans make zero effort. "Slob" is not a style. How can one appreciate the beauty of anything — art, nature, fashion, architecture — if one doesn't care about their own appearance? Maybe I need to move to France. Mon dieux.

From your lips to God’s ears… would love it if people actually got dressed again. Keep up the good work!! We need voices like yours.
Thank you for transporting us to a beautiful place.
It’s sad that people in USA don’t take more pride/interest in the way they dress.
